OutSec is a British online transcription service providing access to over 300 experienced secretaries and typists located in the UK and abroad. It has been operating since 2002 and is now the UK's leading outsourced typing company. OutSec FileManager is a unique, award-winning way to send and receive files. Each client is issued with a password and log-in name. This gives access to a secure encrypted page on the OutSec server. Once logged in on a PC using a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, recorded files can be created on a digital recorder and submitted direct to a secure encrypted folder on the OutSec server. An email is automatically sent confirming successful receipt. Work is then transcribed into templated documents by a dedicated secretary.

Once the sound file has been transcribed, an email is sent notifying the work as ready for collection. The client logs back on to OutSec FileManagerC and collects the work.
