Manchester PCT Going Digital with Winscribe

Twenty-nine General Practice surgeries under the Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale PCT are now using Winscribe Dictation, for the everyday running of their clinics. 

DMCL together with the PCT IT Department headed by Ben Laskey and Donna Haughton installed the Winscribe system at 29 surgeries and on a total of 200 computers. 

The challange was to replace analogue tape dictating systems with a reliable digital dictation system, to improve efficiency and create a secure method of transferring dictations to secretaries.
